ADMISSION TO EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IMPLEMENTING PRIMARY PROFESSIONAL (VOCATIONAL) AND SECONDARY PROFESSIONAL EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS

ADMISSION APPLICATION

The applicant fills out the application form electronically in the education management information system, which includes personal data (first name, last name, patronymic, date of birth, email address, phone number), as well as the Public Service number or the reference number of the waiver as per the law, and uploads the following documents:

  1. A photo,
  2. A copy of the education document (including the supplement in the case of a diploma),
  3. A copy of the identity document (passport, or birth certificate for applicants under 16 years old, or military book, or temporary identity document issued by police departments in the Republic of Armenia, residence certificate, refugee certificate),
  4. A copy of the conscription certificate (for applicants of conscription age, conscription documents must indicate the exemption or deferment status, and for those who previously had deferment due to health reasons, the relevant notes of the Republican Conscription Commission),
  5. A copy of the document confirming the entitlement to admission privileges as specified in Clause 22 of this procedure (if available), which is submitted by the institution’s director (rector) within 2 days after issuing the order to students to the authorized body,
  6. A copy of the higher education certificate for the chosen specialty (if applicable), and a copy of a qualification or short-term training certificate relevant to the specialty (if applicable),
  7. Copies of diplomas from international and national competitions (Olympiads, festivals) (if applicable),
  8. A copy of the certificate of grades from entrance exams taken in the current year or the previous year for admission to a state higher educational institution (if applicable),
  9. A copy of the certificate from the workplace (if applicable),
  10. A copy of the payment receipt for the amount transferred to the account of the educational institution to which the application was submitted.

19.1 The applicant will be held accountable in accordance with the law for providing false information.

The applicant may apply to one educational institution for one specialty based on qualification, specialization, type of musical instrument, or sports field, either for free or paid education.

20.1 The application will be rejected by the admissions committee with justification if:

  1. The applicant submits the application or documents incompletely, and the deficiencies are not rectified within 3 working days after submission, but no later than one day before the application deadline,
  2. The final document does not include the grade of the competition subject specified in Appendix 1 of the chosen specialty,
  3. If there are fewer than 10 applicants for full-time education based on the main education and specialty (except in the field of arts and for educational institutions not funded by the state) by the application deadline, the applicant will be informed by phone and email on the same day,
  4. An applicant with secondary education has applied for a place allocated for higher education, or vice versa, an applicant with higher education has applied for a place allocated for secondary education.

The applicant applying for the medium vocational education program shall pay 1000 AMD to the institution’s account for organizing and conducting the admission process. Regardless of the competition results, the paid amount will not be refunded to the applicant.

Applicants admitted to the reserve places outside the competition are those who fall under the social protection provisions for "Children without parental care" as defined in Article 7 of the Republic of Armenia's Law on Social Protection of Children Without Parental Care, Article 15 of the Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, and Article 67 of the Law on Military Service and Military Personnel, and those who meet the requirements of the Government Decision No. 545 of August 27, 1999, on "Establishing Admission Benefits for Applicants to Vocational Educational Institutions of the Republic of Armenia."
