The Epidemiological Service of the «Saint Gregory the Illuminator» Medical Center is located on the 2nd floor of the Administrative Building (B2).
The Epidemiological Service provides anti-epidemic security.
Epidemiological service is organized and implemented by relevant senior, middle and junior medical workers.
The following main activities are carried out within the framework of the service:
- Implementation of short-term, medium-term and long-term programs aimed at anti-epidemic safety, continuous improvement of the epidemiological component of the quality assurance and management system
- implementation of daily operational and, as necessary, retrospective epidemiological control in all units
- prevention and detection of infections caused by medical interventions
- implementation of face-to-face epidemiological surveillance within the framework of the national influenza program
