Urgent and Emergency Medical Care Reception

The Urgent and Emergency Medical Care Reception of «Saint Gregory the Illuminator» Medical Center is located on the 2nd floor of the administrative and economic building (B2).

The Department has two important features: it is adapted for ambulance parking, and it is just a step or two from the road to the ward.

The next important factor is that there is a separate diagnostic section (X-ray, CT, Ultrasound Imaging) within the Department.

This is especially important when serving urgent and emergency patients.

Patients with a variety of complaints, conditions and diagnoses apply to the Urgent and Emergency Care Reception, both independently and through relatives and/or the Emergency Medical Service.

Here, the patients' initial condition is evaluated, the initial diagnosis is clarified by organizing the necessary laboratory-instrumental, narrow professional examinations, on the basis of which the patients are triaged and further examined, the treatment plan is drawn up and directed in the appropriate direction.
