Sports Medicine Service
Who can apply?
- Sportsmen of sports schools of Yerevan city
- Olympic Shift Athletic College Athletes
- Athletes of the national teams of the Republic of Armenia of Olympic sports and sports of the Olympic family
- Athletes in the third and fourth year groups of non-profit sports schools
- Athletes in the stage of athletic improvement
- Athletes in the stage of increasing sportsmanship
The following services are provided within the sports medicine service:
• Professional advice
• Treatment implementation, organization
• Systematic monitoring of athletes' health (including during the preparation and holding of events)
• Assessment of fitness adequacy
• Issuance of a conclusion on permission to participate in training and competitions
• Other: organization of additional narrow professional consultation
• Organization of necessary laboratory-instrumental diagnostic studies
• Organization of special and hard-to-reach diagnostic examinations for socially disadvantaged and separate (special) groups (electronic referral)
• Organization of hospitalization of patients according to medical instructions (electronic referral)
• Organization of rehabilitation treatment
